When I was in high school I was sent to a pediatric specialist at a great children's hospital in Philly for my scoliosis. It was the most serious and solemn doctor's appointment I have ever been to and the doctor had already broken the news that I would need a brace. But at one point in the exam he said I trunk shift and I burst out laughing. I was 14 and thought trunk shift was just hilarious. My parents and the doctors thought I was crazy.
